Raeder Award
Boylan wins 2010 Raeder Award
Michigan women's basketball's Courtney Boylan, a sophomore guard from Chaska, Minnesota,
is the recipient of the 2010 Raeder's Raiders Spirit Award. "Courtney is the consummate team
player," said Michigan Women's Basketball Head Coach Kevin Borseth, who nominated Boylan
for the award. "She energizes our bench during games with positive energy." Pictured is Borseth;

was presented.
The Raeder's Raiders Spirit Award was established in 2006 to recognize a varsity athlete for character, teamwork, dedication, perseverance and intensity of athletic performance while coming off the bench. It's named after J. Paul Raeder, a member of the Michigan football team from 1957 to 1961, and a number of his teammates known collectively as "Raeder's Raiders." The award is sponsored by the Raeder family.
In recognition, the M Club will match donations made to the Michigan Women's Basketball team between now and June 5th (M Day), up to a total of $500. To submit a qualifying donation, please make your check payable to Letterwinners M Club, include the words "Raeder Donation" on the memo line, and send it to: Pam Stevens, c/o Letterwinners M Club, 1000 S. State St., Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
